Not all strategic moves revolve around business.

The management of MACROKIOSK showed their lighter side when they participated in the Chess Festival Charity Gala Dinner that was held in conjunction with the Malaysian Chess Festival 2009.

Organized by Dato' Tan Chin Nam as a tribute for his son, the late Dato' Arthur Tan, who was a chess enthusiast, the festival was held from 21st to 31st August at the Cititel Hotel Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.

The festival also encompassed three exuberant chess championships namely the Dato' Arthur Tan Malaysia Open Chess Championship, the AmBank Malaysia Chess Challenge and the ASTRO-IGB Merdeka Chess Championship.
