Founders complete takeover of Macrokiosk

PETALING JAYA: The founders of the Macrokiosk group completed the acquisition of the remaining equities of the company that it does not already own, from Japan’s GMO Internet Group’s unit, GMO Payment Gateway Inc (GMO-PG), for an undisclosed sum yesterday.

Through the acquisition, the founders, namely Datuk Kenny Goh, Datuk Henry Goh and CS Goh, obtain full ownership and control of the Macrokiosk group.“With full control of Macrokiosk group, we will rev up efforts aggressively in maintaining revenue growth trajectory and further boost profitability while remaining agile and focused on delivering real value to our clients as we embark on this new chapter, ” said CS.

In a press release, Macrokiosk said its recent rankings in the Financial Times High-Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2020 and Statista Malaysia’s Growth Champion 2020 reinforce Macrokiosk’s position as one of the fastest growing companies in Malaysia and Asia Pacific.

Macrokiosk said that since its inception in 2000, it has been recording strong growth with a record revenue of RM253mil in 2019 and is debt-free.
